OUR SITES
Significant and Renewable Feedstock of Homogenous Bauxite Residue for Long-Term Operations
- ElementUS plans to build and operate a proprietary separation processing plant at the Atlantic Alumina Company (ATALCO) alumina refinery located in Gramercy, Louisiana and the L’Alumina refinery located in Burnside, Louisiana.
Gramercy and Burnside sites are within 20 miles of one another by road and both are located on the Mississippi River with access to key infrastructure for truck, rail, barge and ocean freight.

SITE OPERATIONS
- At Gramercy secured reserves of approximately 30 million dry tons of residue on-site, as well as the generation of additional 500 thousand dry tons per year
- At Burnside secured reserves of approximately 15 million dry tons of residue on-site
- Main separation plant will be combined with multiple downstream processing units to complete the conversion of the bauxite residue into final saleable products.
